Garner, NC - In the second of four straight away games, the Caps were able to come away with a decisive win against the Garner Trojans on Friday night.  With the win Broughton improves to 4-1 on the year and 3-1 in the Capital City East conference.

The night was highlighted by the defense which held the Trojans scorless for over 20 minutes spanning the second, third, and fourth quarters.  Offensively the offense was led by Sophomore Mitchell Dupere who dished out five assists along with three goals.

Up next for the Capitals is at Middle Creeck, Tuesday the 24th at 7pm.

The Junior Varisty team improved to 3-0 with a 9-2 win over the Trojans.  The JV will also play Middle Creek, Tuesday at 5pm.
